Artist statement
I have always been interested and fascinated by history and stories of how people lived years ago in a past time.
I try to capture some of this fascination by photographing people in places that seam timeless or where buildings and scenery have beauty and a story carried through to our present time.
My medium is black and white photography, because I can capture an atmosphere and quality with
less confusion.
I like that I can take a photo of a place that a person may pass every day and still ask: “Where is that?”
It is exciting to take a segment of every day life and give it it’s own story by adding my own touch and showing others how I see it.
